Event Report
First year of running this event in two locations. We went to the additional location to accommodate the large number of plugins signed up and decided to use EV's as a shuttle service between the two locations giving us a lot more ride and drives. Ran our first Summon Showdown race. All of these ideas need to get refined in future events, but we are happy with the concepts. We had a lot of interest from new attendees.

Event Description
The Rochester MI Earth Day Fest starts in the park on Civic Center Dr. in downtown Rochester Friday. The cruise in for all plug-in vehicles will be Saturday from 10-6. As many as 100 electric vehicles and their owners from all over Michigan and Ontario available for the public to meet to talk about their experiences and ride along in the electric vehicles. Owners of plug-in electric vehicles are available all three days to talk to people about how easy it is to switch to electric driving. Charger companies and electrical companies will be represented or on hand to discuss how to charge your vehicles at home and on the road. See the latest vehicles available in Michigan and learn about them from people who own them.
Saturday 10-6 a Plug-in Cruise-in will be held at the Rochester High School northwest parking lot off Walton/University, just west of Livernois in Rochester. Ride and Drive EV shuttles will take people from the high school parking lot to the main MI Earth Day Fest on Civic Center Drive. Bus shuttles will also run every 20 minutes between the two sites. See the latest plug-in vehicles and learn about them from people who own them. Charger companies and Electrical Companies will be on hand to answer questions about charging and the cost of powering your car with electricity and how to charge at home and on the road.
