In conjunction with National Drive Electric Week, L.L.Bean is very pleased to invite you to a ribbon cutting to celebrate their new electric vehicle charging stations---the largest such electric vehicle charging cluster in the state, with 16 electric vehicle chargers—8 Level II chargers and 8 Tesla chargers.

  • When: Friday, September 14, 10:00am
  • Where: In the L.L.Bean Trout Parking lot off of Justins Way in Freeport (behind the L.L.Bean Flagship Store)
  • What: A ribbon cutting to celebrate Maine’s largest electric vehicle charging cluster, with remarks from L.L.Bean executives, special guests and a variety of electric vehicles to see and test drive and more
  • Why: Our founder, a lifelong outdoors man, was a self-described conservationist long before it was popular. Over 100 years later, we remain committed to environmental stewardship in everything we do—these electric vehicle chargers are yet another example of how we are trying to make the great outdoors even greater, with cleaner air and lower carbon emissions

The event is open to anyone with an interest in electric vehicles. Electric vehicle owners are encouraged to come and test out L.L.Bean’s new chargers.
