Event Report
No volunteer hours were used because salaried employees were the workers. Our event had our mayor and two city council members attend. One location television news station attended, and the two local newspapers came. We installed a new charger for the event, and had people spin a wheel to win prizes from Nissan, Virginia International Raceway, and from Danville Utilities. Everyone spoke highly of the event.

Event Description
Join Danville Utilities at the Community Market on September 8th from 9am-1pm to learn more about electric vehicles. We will have one of our own Nissan LEAFs on hand for the event. Robert Woodall Nissan, Steve Padgett's Danville Honda, and Danville Toyota will also have plug-in and plug-in hybrids available to view and test drive.
There will be balloons, popcorn, cotton candy, and many giveaways courtesy of Nissan, American Municipal Power, and Virginia International Raceway!
