Event Report

We had two elected officials. One is a City Councilman in Bellevue (an Omaha suburb) and one board member of Omaha Public Power District (OPPD). We have all public power in Nebraska). OPPD was at the event to promote their EV purchase incentive pilot program. One part of the incentive is $3000 off of the price of a LEAF. In addition to the display of 25 EVs including two electric bicycles, we had presentations about charging stations in Nebraska, updates on the VW Settlement and how to participate in the EV purchase incentive. One EV owner was passing through on his way to Arizona. We had media coverage from two TV stations and the Omaha World-Herald.
