Event Report

This year we partnered with an existing weekly farmer's market that is well attended. All local dealerships with plug-ins in stock, except BMW, showed their cars and provided sponsorship money to support the event. Tesla's Model X was the biggest head turner with folks sticking around to see the S and 3. Most attendees didn't know other manufacturers offered plug-ins, so education was the big priority.

Event Description

Part car show, Part science fair, Part tailgate party

Come to Columbia's 5th annual Drive Electric Week Event September 22, 2018 on Main St, Columbia, SC 29201 from 9am - 1pm.  We'll be at the end of the Soda City Market and right in front of the State House!

We'll have plug-in cars from Hyundai, BMW, Tesla, Chevrolet, Audi, Porsche, and many others.  Private car owners will share their experiences and show their cars.  Dealers will have brand new plug-ins available for your review!  Plus, this year's event being adjacent to Soda City Market makes many lunch options will be available.  Again this year, all proceeds from sponsorships will go to local charities, so come and join us for a kid friendly, educational, community event.
