National Drive Electric Week, September 8-16, 2018, is a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today's widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles and buses.

The New Orleans Sierra Club in conjunction with EV-LA (auto group) will be hosting an EV/PHEV ride and drive event at New Orleans' Delgado Community College (near the EV charger). EV/PHEV owners will be present to share ownership experiences and offer to take you for a ride. This is a great opportunity to see many electric vehicles in one place. And if you see something you like, dealerships will have demo cars on site that you can take for a test drive.

When: Saturday, September 15, 12 PM – 4 PM

Where: Cars will be parked on Orleans Avenue (next to Delgado) across from Dreyfous Drive (in City Park).
