Plug In America is the sole sponsor of the Plug In America "June 26, 2020 ClipperCreek Electric Vehicle Charging Station Drawing" and is solely responsible for this promotion and prizes associated. HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE OR DONATION NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR DONATION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. The "June 26, 2020 ClipperCreek Electric Vehicle Charging Station Drawing" (“Drawing”) was announced on May 27, 2020 and ends at 11:59 pm PT on June 26, 2020 ("entry period"). There is one way to enter: online. No other method of entry will be accepted.

How to Enter

bar To qualify for the drawing, entrants must register an electric vehicle event on the National Drive Electric Week ("NDEW") website, and the event must meet the requirements outlined in the NDEW event agreement. The event must be scheduled to occur during National Drive Electric Week Sep 26-Oct 4, 2020. The event must be approved by a NDEW administrator. A NDEW administrator will evaluate if the event meets the requirements outlined in the event agreement and if the event organizer is in good standing with the NDEW national organizers, which are Plug In America, Sierra Club, and the Electric Auto Association. The event must be registered on or before 11:59 pm PT June 26, 2020. In such cases where a NDEW administrator is still reviewing the event after June 26, 2020, a winner will not be selected until after such events have been approved or rejected and the event organizers have been given 5 business days to respond to requests for information. NDEW administrators will attempt to contact event organizers with requests for information, if necessary, via the phone number and email address provided in the event organizer’s account profile.

Events registered before the Drawing was announced that meet the above criteria will be included in the group of event organizers (“City Captains”) from which the winner is chosen.

Entrant shall be the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain name associated with the submitted email address.

The Drawing is open to NDEW Lead City Captains of events in the United States and Canada who are at least 18 years of age (or, if different, the age of majority in their place of citizenship) as of the date the Drawing begins. Employees of Plug In America (and its subsidiaries, affiliates, prize suppliers, and advertising and promotional agencies); such employees' immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and the spouses of parents, children, and siblings); and individuals living in the same household as such employees are ineligible. The Drawing is governed by the laws of the United States and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.

How the Winner Is Chosen

Limit one entry per registered, qualifying event. A qualifying event is chosen at random and the electric vehicle charging station is awarded to the Lead City Captain. If the chosen City Captain declines the free electric vehicle charging station, a runner up event is chosen. The electric vehicle charging station is provided to the City Captain from a qualifying event, even if they are organizing the event on behalf of an organization.

How the Winner Is Notified

The winner will be notified using the email associated with their NDEW account profile. The winner will be asked to provide the following information:

  1. Confirm if they can be identified by their first name and first letter of their last name;
  2. Confirm any product selection or configuration, if applicable (information will be provided to ClipperCreek);
  3. Confirm their name, email, and phone number to be provided to ClipperCreek; and
  4. Provide a shipping address (with a name) to be provided to ClipperCreek.

How the Winner Is Announced

The winner will be announced via email to all NDEW City Captains and volunteers. The winner will be identified by their first name and first letter of their last name. The winner can choose to remain anonymous, in which case the winner will be announced via email as “NDEW Lead City Captain from the [geographic region of event such as northeast United States]”. The winner may also be announced in the Plug In America newsletter, on the Plug In America or Drive Electric Events social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube), or elsewhere on the NDEW website or the websites of the NDEW national organizers.

How to Receive the Electric Vehicle Charging Station

The electric vehicle charging station is normally shipped directly from ClipperCreek to the winner. In some circumstances, the electric vehicle charging station may be shipped to Plug In America first, after which Plug In America will ship it to the winner. If any damage occurs to the electric vehicle charging station during the process of being delivered to the winner, it can be brought to Plug In America’s attention. Plug In America will review the incident and decide if a new electric vehicle charging station can be shipped to the winner.
