Event Report
We had about the number of spectators we expected ...We had only 8 exhibitors selling Electric components, toy cars, Books, Car Parts, Sunglasses, Car loans and Misc stuff normally vended at car shows here in Wisconsin. The vendors reported low sale volume but were optimistic about next years events.We added 3 cars day of show and all the car exhibitor were pleased with the outcome. We even had people investigating Personal Mobility but had no Bike or 2 wheel EV demonstrations. Our greatest disappointment was lack of dealer involvement... Perhaps It is because Berstrom who dominates car sales here has a policy that discourages EV sales or the fact that there are laws in Wisconsin prohibiting car sales on Sunday. We could only get 3 Good sponsors and did not defray costs of event administration. Our greatest cost was location fees, which provided a shelter for exhibitors, charging outlets, restrooms, ample parking and police monitoring. Many felt that it was an ideal event location .
