Event Report
The State of Washington was represented in two ways the Govenor signed a proclimation and the project director for the electric highway partnerships attended and also displayed one of the nearly 100 Chevy Bolts that the state has ordered for their fleet use.
The weather was threatening to rain and it did at 2pm or so. This location is known for car shows and does a Sunday car show from early spring until late in the fall. Here is their link

Washington State hels 11 NDEW events this year nearly three times last year as I recall. The Govenor also wants to double the number of EVS in the next few years and is looking for inovative ways to do so like a dealer sales training and bonus program for their EV product specialists.
We did not do onsite test drives or rides howeve did sign up folks who will be called by the dealer for test drives. This is a measure of "conversion" as they say in marketing terms.
Converstion measures The efficacy of marketing, It is measured by the conversion rate, i.e. the number of customers who have completed a transaction divided by the total number of website or marketing event visitors.

The location is the historic Triple X Root Beer Drive-In: a monument to the history of motoring and a regional destination famous for its weekly car shows.

Last May we had 59+ electric vehicles on display representing more than 1.5 million oil-free miles! The event also included lots of fun activities such as a scavenger hunt with prizes, three student robotics teams and some great exhibits by Puget Sound Solar, Torklift Central and several other vendors.
Our Special guests represent the breadth of enthusiasts and leaders of the community of drivers, business, and government.
