Event Report
Moorhead Mayor Del Rae Williams read a tri-city proclamation naming Drive Electric Week. She also expressed interest in pursuing a DC fast charger for Moorhead in the future.
ND Senator Tim Mathern spoke about Green Transportation. He did a good job talking about the environment and ways people can be greener transportation wise, putting great emphasis on mass transit and ride shares.
Both the Sunglasses and the USB powered fans were popular items.
The Tesla Model S's were the crowd favourites. 3 Nissan LEAF, 1 Mitsubishi iMiev, 1 Chevy Volt, 3 Tesla Model S.

Please join us at West Acres Shopping Mall in Fargo for National Drive Electric Week!
The event kicks off with a ribbon cutting ceremony for a Level 2 charging station at West Acres Shopping Mall. Celebrate the event with a few selected speakers:
- 11:00 AM: Opening Sentences
- 11:05 AM: Moorhead Mayor Del Rae Williams reads Tri-City Proclamation declaring it Drive Electric Week in Moorhead, Fargo, and West Fargo
- 11:15 AM: ND Senator Tim Mathern speaks about Green Transportation
- 11:30 AM: Ribbon Cutting of Level 2 charger
- 11:35 AM: Beginning of car show and ride-and-drives

Also on site will be an Electric Car drive in. In addition to being able to see real vehicles used by real owners right in the Red River Valley, owners will be on site for questions, impressions, and advice in searching for a vehicle or considering if your next car might be electric. Rides will be available, as well as test drives for appropriately Licensed and Insured drivers.
