Event Report

Seven car dealerships sponsored and six displayed cars (Chevy, Nissan, BMW, Porsche, Volvo, Mitsubishi and Ford).
A 20' x 30' tent hosted our non-profit groups (HS robotics team, Keep the Midlands Beautiful, local scholarship fund, Palmetto State Clean Fuels Coalition (main sponsor), Nationwide Insurance (sponsor), ChargePoint, Yes Solar (Sponsor).
Partnered with Whole Foods to hold the event in a large section of their parking lot. They provided the "Giving Grill": $5 lunch with all proceeds to our charities.
No speeches or formal discussions. Lots of education 1-1 with volunteers talking about their cars and ownership experience. Twenty EV owner's cars on display from 3 Tesla Model Xs to Mitsubishi I-MiEV.
