Event Report
We had several people ask about the advantages of have an EV. The Volt owner in particular was very enthusiastic and able to convey his sense of excitement with not only the economy, but the fun of driving his EV.
Although Nissan did drop off a Leaf, we were a little disappointed that it was an older loaner model and they couldn't provide any representatives to attend the event, so it just sat there locked.
We got no sales literature from either Chevrolet nor Nissan & no posters or T-shirts from driveelectricweek.org, so we could only talk to people about what we were trying to do, but there was no information to handout, etc.
However, we did get two new DRA members, so overall felt it was worthwhile.

Celebrate National Drive Electric Week in Rapid City
Dakota Rural Action has a booth at the Market.We'll be talking about the advantages of EV's and be featuring two new vehicles, a Nissan Leaf and a Chevy Volt.
