Event Report
Despite the morning rain and the early start date, the first annual Prescott NDEW event was a success! We had a total of 5 EVs: 2 Nissan Leafs, 2 Tesla Model 2 cars, and a Bolt. The Bolt was brought by the local Lamb dealer in Prescott. The Tesla drivers offered rides in their cars, and the dealer also allowed test drives in the parking lot. Next year we would likely host the event in the Costco parking lot, where the traffic is heavier and visibility is greater. We will also start planning much earlier!

Event Description
Prescott Celebrates Drive Electric Week
Join us as we celebrate the electric car in everybody's hometown in northern Arizona, Prescott!
Have you heard about electric cars, but you still have many questions? Then this free event is for you! We will have the latest electric vehicles (EVs) on display at the Goodwin Street Plaza from 8am-noon on Saturday, September 9th, with EV drivers that can answer your questions such as:
- How much do the vehicles cost?
- How and where do you charge the vehicles?
- Where can you buy one in Prescott?
- Will the cars work in Prescott? Are there enough charging stations?
- What are the latest technology and innovation trends with EVs?
- Which automakers are manufacturing EVs? When is the first electric pick-up truck entering the market?
We will also be kicking off the newly formed Prescott Electric Vehicle Group. Bring your morning coffee, your bagel/donut and your questions - we look forward to celebrating with you on Saturday, September 9th!
