Event Report

Ann Arbor event had 20 cars including Tesla Model S, Nissan Leaf, Chevy Volt, Ford Fusion Energi, Prius Plug In, Porsche 911 EV Conversion and Pick-Up Trucks EV conversion. Ann Arbor Nissan was our featured dealership. Sunventrix showcased benefits of harvesting solar energy to visitors. ClipperCreek displayed various charging units. Motors City Motors showcased Porsche 911 EV conversion. Copper Development Association and CooperTalk covered the event, interviewed owners and participants. The event attracted steady traffic and visitors familiarized themselves with various EVs, whereas some visitors came with the knowledge and were interested in seeing the vehicle in person and were interested to know real world experience before final purchase. Test-rides and Test-drives were given to interested buyers. Owners shared their ownership experience.

Event Description

 




Michigan Electric Auto Association (MEAA) is proud to announce National Plug-In Day event in at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, MI in partnership with Michigan Tesla Owners. Ecology Center and Clean Energy Coalition will be promoting the event. NPID-Ann Arbor is thrilled to partner with Copper Development Association for event coverage. Coppertalk.org will liveblog and promote various Plug-In Day events being held nationally. 

Washtenaw Community College's Automative faculty and students will participate in the event. The event will be held near the parking structure at the back of the facility. Parking structure can be accessed via Huron River Dr and enter through West Enterance of the parking structure. Parking structure has 6 ChargePoint chargers. The college will be advertising  the event using their media channels and Clean Energy Coalition will promote the event in their newsletter. 

This event will have Tesla Model S, Nissan Leaf and Chevy Volt on display. Event will feature EV conversion business and EV conversion by enthusiasts. There are no space constraints here and all EV owners are welcome here. Ann Arbor Nissan and Varsity Ford will be our featured dealers here, this event will have dealership vehicles for ride and drive.  This event aims to highlight alternative energy, will be featuring Sunventrix, a reputed solar panel installer in the area. If you own an alternative energy business or ecofriendly business then you are welcome to display your product here. 

We will also have another event at Saline Oktoberfest, which will be a static display. Please click the link below for event details.
