Event Report

The event went well.  We had approximately 95 attendees that heard awesome speakers, met surprise guests, and enjoyed music and entertainment.
 
The CEO from E-Bus Inc, Anders (Andy) Eklov, Mayor Pat Furey, City of Torrance and Mayor Justin Massey, City of Hermosa Beach joined us.  The students from LA Harbor College displayed their robot and spoke about their STEM academia.   The hosted information booths had representatives from: Southern, California Edison, South Bay Environmental Service Center, Center for Sustainable Energy, Los Angeles Harbor College - featuring engineering students, KC Price III Christian Schools, Optima Energy, Sunrun, the League of Women Voters of Torrance Area, and the Harbor Gateway North Neighborhood Council. Our local City of Los Angeles Fire Dept. - Station #79, John Jones- Office of Joe Buscaino - CD 15, Octaviano Rios - City of LA, Dept of Neighborhood Empowerment and LA County Sheriff - Deputy Malveaux were on the scene to celebrate and learn about EV's.

We included three educational forums on the program:

EV Showcase:
 
We had the honor of having Scott Robinson Honda display two of their Honda Clarity vehicles.  Ride and Drives were offered by Pacific Volkswagen, featuring the E-Golf and Martin Chevrolet had their Volt, Bolt and a hybrid Monte Carlo.  The EV showcase also included a Tesla Model S and  Model X.
